  1. I'm wondering of you have a suggested method to clean the smoking gun.
    I have had mine for about 6-7 months and the fan is now quite sticky with smoke residue.
    if i warm the chamber up it will eventually dislodge, but id like to clean it properly.

    do you have a suggested method? or should I disassemble it and can i separate the fan from the motor to soak?

  6. My 9106 refrigerated circulating bath works fine in the cooling mode. It stops operating when it switches into the heating mode. The error message is FLt03. The problem does not go away even after adjusting the OTP setting. Would someone please share your experience and tell me what to do to correct the error?

    I have operated the unit with the heater power disconnected. After cooling the water to the set temperature, e.g. 15C, the controller can still switch to the heating mode. But the same error stops the 9106 from operating in the heating mode and displays FLt03, which according to the manual means the high temperature limit was exceeded. The limit was at the factory default of 152 C.

    my poly science smoking gun wire mesh has been choked with plastic residue with wood chips.
    Now no smoke is generated due ti the mesh choking up.Kibdly help me how to fix this issue or repair it.

    I have a Plyscience smoking gun, it is working very good but sometimes when i turn it on it does not go on right away but after few click on the switch.
    Looks like it is stucked with something, is there a way to open it and check.

  12. Hi,

    My smoking gun polyscience stopped working.
    I took out the small screw at the bottom of the chamber with an Allen 1.5mm
    However I am still unable to open it.
    Is there any other screws I am supposed to take out?
    I am in Cambodia and have no idea how to get it serviced

    I have an early model smoking which stopped working a while ago. I suspect it's the fan? Is there a way to fix/replace this? Seems a shame to throw it away if it can be fixed.
